- Double-coated and heavy-shedding coats — the dogs and cats that leave fur on everything. It is designed to reach the loose undercoat rather than skim the topcoat.
- Is it right for a doodle or a curly coat?
- No. Curly, wool and silky single coats mat rather than shed, and they need a slicker brush and a comb instead. We would rather tell you that than sell you the wrong tool.
- Can I use it to remove mats?
- No. Use it on clean, dry coats. A mat needs to be worked out with a comb or a dematting tool first.
- How does the fur release work?
- One press retracts the head so the collected fur lifts off in a single piece, rather than being pulled out of the teeth by hand.
- How often should I use it?
- Short, regular sessions beat long occasional ones. A few minutes several times a week keeps loose undercoat moving out before it spreads through the house.
